Further new business success at Moulded Foams Cumbernauld plant has been enhanced by the installation of a new foam expander. This additional investment will only further increase the already high manufacturing efficiencies at the Scottitsh plant as it meets the demands of its customer base. Mr John Thornberry states" We have a commitment to meet the demands our business partners in Scotland and this investment once again illustrates our ability and willingness to roll out our mission statement, not only to our customers, but also to the valued employees at each of our plants". The new expander, which is the largest of its kind in the UK will convert nearly 3000kg of foamed bead an hour.
 
This new expander is the second recent investment to take place at Cumbernauld following the installation of its loose bead facility. Our site in Tonypandy, South Wales has also seen mirrored investment with a dedicated bead facility and fleet of vehicles for loose bead supply. Pictured below are the new expander and one of our new cabs that will transport our products across the country.
