A recent investment of c£1million has resulted in the successful installation of solar arrays at two of our manufacturing plants here in the UK. This is further evidence to support Moulded Foams’ full commitment to sustainability and the environment and its investment in low carbon emitting technologies to reduce its carbon footprint and speed up the journey to achieving Net Zero.
Mr Gareth Bevan, Managing Director reiterated ” we have always considered buying 100% of our electricity from renewable sources as environmentally unambitious, hence the commitment in 2023 to these installations, to further reduce our carbon footprint and play an important part in our overall strategy to invest in low carbon emitting technologies throughout the business.”
The installations will result in a total of 520 tonnes of carbon offset.
